Family Love Update

We are still completely trilled with Digby. I'm always surprised (and a little proud) by the compliments he receives. He was groomed and clipped last month, and we found out he actually has a few more markings on his back...they were just covered by longer white fur!

I've noticed that during walks, he is actually completely indifferent (and a little shy) of other dogs we pass. He has no interest in trying to check their scent. I think this is a little strange since he was not an only dog in your foster care, but it's much better than our last dog that was aggressively anti-social around other dogs.

We moved, but now have a bigger home with a larger yard. Digby has nearly three times more room to run, hunt, and explore. And he is very fast! He bolts out the door and is one the search for any invaders! He twice caught doves in the yard before they could get out of his grasp. Our neighbor has a Golden that he completely ignores. He keeps his eyes to the trees! Inside, he's velcro dog as we move room to room, and loves to cuddle close as we watch TV

Digby's Forever Family Update

Just wanted to let you know that Digby is doing very well and we love having him as a part of our family.

Our vet found no problems. She said he was nicely lean, very muscular, and had good sounding heart and lungs. He is even eating very well. No more spoon feeding required! He sits nearby while it is mixed...he puts his nose into the bowl as soon as it is put down...and his mouth stays in the bowl until it is licked clean!

We took a short getaway two weekends ago and spent three nights in Nashville, Indiana. Digby was terrific! Excellent in the car...walked two trails at a statepark...strolled around the local downtown shops...and he received several adoring praises from several people we passed. He wasn't even bothered by thunder during the last night of our stay.

It doesn't seem to matter if we are traveling or watching TV...Digby is just a happy boy!...until a cat goes past his favorite window, then WATCH OUT!

Happy Valentine's Day

Will you BE MINE?

Digby was the ambassador for IBR at a fundraiser. He would sit there and stare at the door, just waiting to greet the next person walking in with kisses. He did this for 7 hours and not once minded or had enough.

This lady kept coming back for more and Digby was more than willing to oblige.

Digby is a very mellow boy who wants nothing more than to give someone all the love he has to give. He is very well behaved, likes squeaky toys, and is so ready to move on to his forever home. He won't disappoint you.
